It is with sadness that we have learned of the passing of UA Local 179 lifetime member Leslie Clark.

December 17, 1925 -  September 21st, 2013

Leslie Irvin Clark of Moose Jaw, SK passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21st, 2013 at the age of 77 years, surrounded by his loving family. Leslie was predeceased by his parents, Lindsay and Mary Clark; brothers, Leonard and Gerald; and brother-in-law, Charles. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 56 years, Arlene; children: Brent, Leslie (Blair), Lynne (Gary), Lindsay and Joanne (Jim). He will be dearly missed by his beloved grandchildren who brought such joy to his life: Tyler (Alissa), Melissa (Jason), Meagan, Jordan (Erica), Nathan and the newest addition to our family who added a twinkle to his eye, his first great-grandchild Jayden. Leslie is also survived by his siblings: Donna (Barb), Shirley (Gene), David, Elizabeth and Lindsay (Lorraine); sister-in-law, Mary Anne; as well as brothers and sisters-in-law: Valerie (Myron), Don (Judy) and Sharon (Fred); and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Our family would like to thank the nursing staff of the Moose Jaw Union Hospital for their kindness, warmth and wonderful care during his stay at the hospital. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 26th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Andrews United Church, 60 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw, SK. Reverend Jim Tenford will officiate and interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leslie’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2M2.
