NERENBERG, Ronald Leslie
It is with great sadness that the family of Ron
announces his peaceful passing, on Sunday, March 10, 2019 after a long, valiant
battle against cancer. He was predeceased by his loving wife Marilyn in 2012
after 45 years of marriage; his parents Emil and Elsie; brother George;
brothers Arthur and Horst in infancy; sister Erica Cook; and granddaughter
Emelia. Ron is survived by his three children Quinn (Chantal) Nerenberg, Lynn
Nerenberg, and Marie (Jason) Hamm; six grandchildren, Kyle, Mikael, Natalie,
Eric, Katelyn, and Colton; brother Bruno (Marcia) Nerenberg; sister Irma

Ron grew up on a farm in the Janzen and LeRoy area and in 1960 he relocated to
the Regina area where he became part owner in the new family farm just east of
the city. He worked in the trades and by 1965 had joined the Plumbers and
Pipefitter Union Local 179 and worked many years as a journeymen welder. He
eventually set himself up with a welding rig and became a contractor. Ron
married Marilyn in 1967, they lived together on the family farm just east of
Regina where they raised their three children and later retired to the city. In
2015 Ron was diagnosed with cancer. He enjoyed spending time with his family
and looked forward to regular family gatherings. The family would like to thank
the nursing staff at Balcarres Integrated Care Centre and College Park II for
the care they provided. Memorial Service will be held at Christ Lutheran
Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK, on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 2:00
