It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Brother Leo Watchel, who passed away March 17, 2023.  Brother Leo had been a member of the UA for 23 years!

Obituary of Leo Jacob Watchel
On Friday, March 17, 2023 Leo Watchel of Lloydminster passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital at the age of 78 years.
Leo is loved and remembered by his daughter Tracy Watchel of Lloydminster; son Drew Watchel of Lashburn; grandchildren Chad (NJ) Watchel, Payton Watchel, Harper Watchel, Finley Watchel and Jacob Watchel; sister Sadie (Les) Pinski of Lloydminster, and Della (Lyle) Thom of Lloydminster; brothers Rick (Lana) Watchel of Cold Lake, Jim Watchel of Lloydminster as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Leo was predeceased by granddaughter Ainsley Watchel, parents Alexander and Ann Watchel, sisters Leona (Vern) Watson, Vicki (Noble) Clysdale and brother Elmer Watchel.
In keeping with Leo’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Leo may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Society.
