· Yes, good training opportunities***
· Yes, proud to be UA member**
· Yes, wages are good ***
· Yes, enjoy the job security**
· Yes, enjoy the benefits**
· Yes, however apprentices should have a voice and vote**
· Yes, happy to belong but change is necessary*
· Yes, pride of my involvement and work
· Yes, only if the UA is actually willing to make changes
· Yes, SFE needs greater enforcement

· Yes, however, better in field training would be positive

D. What could your Local Union do to engage you to become more involved at the Local union level?

· Why would a attend a meeting when my opinion is not even considered
· Mandatory union meetings/ consequences for none attendance
· Rewarded for attending union meetings*
· More apprentice only meetings
· Incentive driven activities
· Show us the leadership way and lead by example
· Hold monthly events, activities so apprentices can interact and bond*
· More informative union meetings
· SFE needs to be enforced properly
· Technological advancements - communication
· Live online meetings for those apprentices that cannot attend in person*
· Instill a greater sense of personal ownership and responsibility
· Better instruction in terms we understand – speak in layman terms
